if ivory house was a haunted salon…

Every salon has its own personalities.

Its own routines.

Its own inside jokes.

Which got us thinking.

What if Ivory House became a haunted salon for Halloween?

The front desk ghost would definitely spend all day hiding pens and disappearing appointment books.

One stylist would be caught dancing in the back when she was supposed to be cleaning.

Someone would accidentally start filming a reel in the middle of a haunting.

The boutique would somehow convince all of us that we absolutely needed another sweater.

The coffee machine would mysteriously stop working during the busiest day of the week.

And every stylist would suddenly develop supernatural hearing anytime someone whispered the words, “Do you have any last-minute appointments available before the holidays?”

The real jump scares?

A client saying, “I colored it myself.”

Finding out someone used a box dye three days before their appointment.

The phrase, “I just need a quick bleach touch-up.”

And hearing, “I found this picture on Pinterest. Can we do this in one appointment?”

Honestly, though, our favorite part of Halloween isn’t the candy or the decorations.

It’s the excuse to have a little more fun.

Because behind every haircut, color service, blonde transformation, and consultation, we’re also spending our days laughing, telling stories, and building friendships.

And that’s what makes a salon feel less like a business and more like a second home.

From all of us at Ivory House Salon in Dripping Springs, we hope your Halloween is filled with more treats than tricks.

And if you’re thinking about cutting your own bangs this weekend?

We’ll keep a chair open for you. 🎃
